The Tesla CD Turbine is a little home-made turbine made from recycled CD’s, CD spindle, neodymium magnets and...not much else!

   The idea originated with an on-line contest for ideas to recycle old CD’s. I had been thinking about the Tesla turbine, and had a picture of the original Tesla Turbine patent on my wall...

   Suddenly it clicked!  CD discs...and...turbine discs! It was a natural fit, and the first prototype Tesla CD Turbine was created.

    Things got a little crazy from there... but I still have my fingers!
